B.A English Language and Literature

 Department of English has been functioning in the college since its inception in 2013. The mission of the department is to increase the employability of students by increasing their language proficiency and also to inculcate social and cultural values in students and thereby making them an asset to the society. The department offers Undergraduate Programme in English Language and Literature and it strictly follows the syllabus prescribed by the University of Calicut. There are four permanent faculties in the department. The department offers open course in Appreciating Literature to interested students from other departments. An elective course in Writing for the Media is also offered by the department. The department organizes online webinars and various other cultural programmes for the overall mental and physical development of students. Students from the department has also won prizes in sport events conducted at the college, university and state levels.
